JARNIN WINS HH THE PRESIDENTS CUP
Sunday was Abu Dhabi's biggest meeting of the season and the AED1,000,000 Group One HH The President's Cup for Purebred Arabians was won by Jarnin under Richard Mullen and for trainer Saifaldin Deeb who has enjoyed a remarkable season.

NO RISK AL MAURY MAKES HISTORY - FIRST WINNER AT MEYDAN!
The first ever race at Meydan, the Group 1 Maktoum Challenge for Purebred Arabians was win in great style by No Risk Al Maury, owned by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum who also sponsored the race.

MEYDAN OPENS TONIGHT - ARABIAN G1 RACE IN FIRST CARD!
The eagerly awaited opening meeting of the 2010 Dubai International Racing Carnival is upon us and Thursday evening will herald the beginning of a new era in the UAE with the first meeting staged at Meydan - including the opening round of the Maktoum Challenge for the Purebred Arabians.! The futuristic new UAE flagship racecourse will stage its first meeting with an eight race card, all on the new Tapeta synthetic surface.

Please note that the Entries for the Qatar International Derby (2919) Thoroughbreds 3 Years old only and the Qatar International Derby (2921) for the Pure Arabians Group 2 will close on Sunday the 6th of December 2009, and the Declarations will close on Sunday the 13th of December 2009.

NORTH EUROPEAN DERBY 2013
In 2010, the third North European Derby will be run and the Arabian Purebreds entered in their year of birth, 2006 will be participating. For the North European Derby is a race in line with the classic English Derby: foals born in a particular year can be entered in that great race that will take place four years later, while the owners pay every year to maintain their entry.

THE FAVOURITES WON AT FRANKFURT RACETRACK
The sponsors at Dubai had provided advertising gifts and the tidy sponsor sum of over €30.000 €, but they forgot the sun and the three Dubai-races of the year took place in dull weather and drizzle. This did however not daunt the participants and all three races were well attended with 10 starters each.
