This first ever congress was skilfully organized by Ms Lara Sawaya, under the inspiring patronage of His Highness Sheik Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan, vice prime minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs of United Arab Emirates, the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Flat Racing Festival and in collaboration with the IFAHR (International Federation for Arabian Horse Racing); EHAS (Emirates Arabian Horse Society) and the ADSC (ABU DHABI SPORTS Council). An international group, sharing a passion for the Arabian Purebred, gathered to attend 3 days of sessions and workshops, to learn about each other’s visions, discuss issues and make new friends.
All sessions were broadcasted live by the Abu Dhabi Sports Channel and thanks to interpreters and state-of-the-art equipment, everybody could follow what was said, also when the speakers were speaking their own language. Fantastic!

The congress started on Wednesday with an official opening of the Adihex and a special press conference, followed in the evening by the World Arabian Horse Racing Conference Gala dinner in the illustrious Emirates Palace. Later that evening, exclusive iPads were generously distributed; these iPads contain a very special application, which enables people to watch the races ran in the scope of the Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Flat Racing Festival, whenever they want. What a wonderful gift!
