KHALIFA BIN HAMAD AL ATTIYAH’S WINS PRESIDENT OF THE UAE CUP AT DUINDIGT RACETRACK IN THE NETHERLANDS

The Dutch Arabian Racing Committee

Less than a month after his winning return at Ostende, Djelamer imposed himself again, at Duindigt, Netherlands, in the President of the UAE Cup. The Khalifa Hamad Al Attiyah-owned horse, trained by Alban de Mieulle, was ridden at the back of the field by Jean-Baptiste Hamel. He came closer in the opposite straight and then edged Al Shaqab’s Metrag, who came second. Trained by Thomas Fourcy, the runner up was ridden by Qatari jockey, Faleh Bughenaim. Metrag stayed on a success in a Listed in Rome.

Djelamer who did not race in Doha last season due to health issues, seems to be coming back even stronger at 5yos, and he should illustrate himself at the best level.
